Why are you running for office?
My experiences as an active senator, and as SOL President have prepared me to take on the role of SGA Vice President. I have ideas on how to improve SGA communication with other SOC's and most importantly the student body. My dedication to the students and to student government makes me a perfect candidate for Vice President.
What issues will you work on should you be elected?
I will work on improving communication between SGA and the other SOC's. I will also work to remove the stigma of SGA as a distant governing body, allowing students more opportunities to find out what is happening in SGA meetings. I feel it is important for senators to always do what is in the best interest of their constituents, and I will encourage more interaction between senators and the student body. In addition, I would ike to see SGA be more active as a political body, and less like a financial one.
