Colleen Hester is leaving her post as vice president of Strategic Planning, Institutional Research and Evaluation to become the first woman president of MacMurray College in Jacksonville, Ill.
The 161-year-old Methodist institution selected Hester from among more than 60 applicants.
Hester came to UST 23 years ago. Before serving SPIRE in her current capacity, Hester was a senior administrator in the Offices of Academic Affairs, Student Affairs and Institutional Advancement.
